Great haggadah for a left-winger like me.

Interesting take, but much less political than I expected.

This is a disgrace. It ignores the entire history of how the Palestinian Arabs came under Israeli occupation and why they remain so -- They attacked unarmed, peaceful Jews in Hebron in 1929 and continuously sporadically throughout the 1930's and '40's. Their religious leader met with Adolf Hitler to plan the mass murder of all the Jews in British Palestine. When the UN divided the land to give parts to Jordan, Egypt, and the new state of Israel, the armies of a half-dozen Arab armies invaded, with the stated goal of murdering the Jews. Ditto in 1967. Ditto in 1973. The Palestinian Arabs cheered wildly in support of Saddam Hussein's chemical warhead rockets during the 1991 Gulf War. Egypt and Jordan reached peace deals with Israel, in which captured lands were returned. Yassar Arafat was offered generous peace deals under President Clinton, and rejected them w/o negotiation. Israel returned Gaza -- soon extremist terrorists Hamas murdered all opposition to take control and fire rockets on Israel.But the haggadah ignores that and much more historical facts to put a phony guilt trip on Israelis. This is filth.

A gorgeous and timely Haggadah. The illustrations evoke both ancient Israelites and modern-day Palestinians. These combine with the text to tell the story of our liberation, both from ancient Egypt and in 1948 - and to call for liberation of the Palestinians so we all can be free.

I was very inspired by the diverse and nuances texts of this Haggadah - highly recommend for people who build their Seder who seek for inspirational Seder!
