I bought it for my 8 year old granddaughter who is involved in roller derby. It's a great example that you don't have to be prissy to be comfortable in today's society. That there are people out there that celebrate your strengths and that you can still be feminine while being strong and mighty. I got one for myself. A reminder that I am enough after a divorce.

Great book, especially for tween to teenage girls. Photos of catching females not havingto be glammed and blinged up to be absolutely strong, pretty, and AMAZING. Highly recommend for girls, AND males could really learn from this book too. Excellent photography- the picture(s) “is worth a thousand words” cover to cover.
