I don't understand why this book got any good reviews. A lot of it is fragmented, doesn't give any context or make any sense. just shows scales and not much theory or background behind any of it to help you get a good concept of them. The introductory section was very promising, kind of funny and made me think it was going to be a good book but I have since moved on sadly.

Best book on scales I have read so far. It has the construction formula for each scale, the notes and some licks to hear the sound of each scale. This is the first book that gave me a couple of tips to help me remember each scale quickly. I won't say the tips here because this book is so well written that the author deserves your business and get this book sold. You won't regret the purchase. everyone will get some benefit from this book. Highly recommended.

A great reference book. You can both look up and practice just about any scale. Everything is explained in a very straight forward and easy to follow method. Too many of these type books assume that everyone knows their theory backwards and forwards. This one does the job better than almost all the others.

I just like this series bought all the books even though some were offered free,also like the additional free content. The humor flavored facts are right on the spot. Chuckling keeps this from being dry reading even if it’s sometimes corny cause I am too,I have been playing for 50 years (by ear only) I am improving my style exponentially using these materials. Nice style and a FB group if you’re into that

The author brings a new and refreshing way to teaching, what is basically a boring subject. Scales are necessary, but does not have to be necessarily boring. Thank you, Guitar head, keep up the excellent work.
