This was a required text for a comparative anatomy course and though ordered used, arrived on time looking as though it had never been touched. Great text, in the sense that it is well-organized, clearly written, and shows the relationships between and within the different systems of the body in a clear manner that can be followed by any student. However, it does not have a glossary, which is essential for any textbook. This makes it impossible to look up any singular term for quick reference or comparison. Without a glossary, I am only able to give this book a paltry 3 stars. If this text were to have a glossary, it would easily be a 5-star text.

I love the study of animals. I find it very insightful and a very good learning source.. I learned alot
